"Lawrence Swim School has done a wonderful job with teaching my daughters to swim. We have participated in their lessons for the past ten summers, starting when my oldest daughter was three years old. She "graduated" from swimming lessons after accomplishing all the skills and she is a very good swimmer because of Lawrence Swim School. My youngest daughter is very close to accomplishing all her swimming skills at Lawrence Swim School and she is also a good swimmer. The instructors are awesome and they really care about teaching each individual swimmer. We have especially loved the 3 to 1 student to teacher ratio. "We first learned about Lawrence Swim School from a friend, whose child learned to swim there. Our daughter was 4 years old and afraid to get her face wet. The instructors (we took two sessions) were both experienced swimmers. The class size was small (3 students). By the end of the sessions, my daughter was blowing bubbles, floating on her back, and going down the slide into the pool! She is no longer afraid of getting her face wet! I was impressed with the ability of the instructors to push and encourage each student to their personal skill level, without traumatizing them.
